On Thursday, April 27th, 2023, S.A.F.E. took another step in bringing more awareness of the fentanyl epidemic. We hosted our first Youth Summit. The goal was to empower our youth to fight fentanyl by giving them the knowledge to help us end the tragic overdoses and poisonings of fentanyl. With this knowledge, our youth can go back to their schools, families, and communities and have conversations in a proactive manner rather than reactive.
The D.E.A. and the Rayce Rudeen Foundation have collaborated to build an alliance of Spokane area community leaders called the Spokane Alliance for Fentanyl Education (S.A.F.E.).
