The Rayce Rudeen Foundation offers Free group training on Naloxone/Narcan administration.
Naloxone/Narcan is a medication that is a strong reversal agent for opioid overdoses by blocking the same receptor.
This medication only works on opioid overdoses. One should learn the signs of an opioid overdose and learn how to administer the Naloxone. However, this medication is very safe. If you administer the Naloxone and the person isn’t overdosing on an opioid, it will not harm the individual.
In this free training, participants will receive current data and information on trends of the existing opioid and fentanyl epidemic. They will also learn how to identify an overdose or accidental poisoning, receive training on what Nacan is, how it works in the body, and how to administer a dose. Part of this training will also consist of learning best-practices for protocol, storage, and post-event support. The training wraps up with a Q&A panel with qualified specialists.
Visit our Narcan Training Page to learn how your team can enroll for this impactful and potentially life-saving training.
